Is Roger Federer is the Best Tennis Player Ever?

While always hard to compare players of any sport across various eras, Roger Federer would certainly go close to being the best tennis player of all time given the amount of Grand Slam Tennis Tournaments he has won in his professional career.

A swag of Wimbledon Trophies, US Open titles and Australian Open Titles also. Federer had a little bit of a tougher time of it at the French Open, with the clay court proving a much better stomping ground for Raphael Nadal – with Rafa winning more of the titles on offer there. The rivalry between Federer and Nadal has blossomed from there with both the number 1 ranked Federer and number 2 ranked tennis player Raphael Nadal going at in on the tennis courts.

While Federer might be the best tennis player now and possibly of all time, the next stage of rivalry is developing between Brit Andy Murray who is currently facing Roger Federer in the Australian Open for 2010.

Only the 5th seed, Murray has stood up to the task and is set to push Federer all the way in the big one.

Regardless of the result, the likes of Murray are going to push Federer in the coming years and certainly if Nadal can remain fit and injury-free he will continue to challenge Federer and take come of the career earnings away from the no.1 ranked tennis player in the near future.
